More recently the Institute has been able to provide ‘big data’ products derived from correlations with very large current & historic databases from national & local government, employment, income, educational, medical, purchasing, expenditure, financial, commercial, political, social media, and other sources which are able to both isolate discrete localities and define individual data subjects.
We do not deliver opinions, but simple, impartial, and neutral statistical data; albeit this data is inevitably tainted with the subjective opinions and prejudices of the data sources, especially where those sources are political, commercial, or the general public. These researched attitudes and opinions are simply reported verbatim where and when necessary, with an appropriate data caveat advisory. The presentation of this data is statistical and we have as far as possible not directly quoted any commentary present in the raw data as this arguably may be in some respect partisan. Obviously some Primary Survey data will have partisan elements based on the responses of those interviewed; however, when this is objectively presented the partisan data is put into context, and can be viewed as part of a complete and statistically valid database.
